  (Overview of the Organization)    2.1 Background of the Organization  Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTBL) was incorporated on September 29, 1999 under the companies Act 1994 as a public company limited. They introduced themselves as a pioneer in banking sector. At the time of beginning their authorized capital was Tk 38, 00,000,000 divided into 38,000,000 ordinary shares of Tk each. The head office of the bank is in MTB center, 26 Gulshan Avenue. The bank has 67 branches allover the country, the bank carries out international business through a Global Network of Foreign Correspondent Banks.
